Segerstrom Center brings the best of professional youth performance to Orange County through the Family Series. Artists from around the world perform shows that are produced specifically for family audiences. The Family Series is geared at children ages 4+ with specific age recommendations for each performance. Performances range from the vibrant Latin rhythms of Sonia De Los Santos to the whimsical tale of Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical! and the iconic musical The Wiz. These performances promise to create lasting memories and spark a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts in your family.

For families who need a more relaxed sensory environment, Segerstrom Center for the Arts is presenting a series of sensory-friendly/relaxed performances as part of our Family Series.

All performances include one hour of free, fun activities for families to enjoy together before the show. The Center offers these enriching experiences to provide young people and their families with opportunities to play together creatively, explore the themes and content of the performances, and connect with other patrons. Pre-show activities have included puppet making, drum circles, conducting lessons, and even a silent disco!
