The Guilds believe in the power of the arts to enhance, enrich and transform lives.
The Guilds of Segerstrom Center for the Arts is the oldest and largest of all the Center support groups. Each chapter is identified by their special group interests or geographic locations, with annual dues ranging approximately from $35 to $250. The focus of the Guilds is to build awareness and support of the Center, benefit the Center’s education, community engagement and artistic programs, and to develop a greater appreciation for the performing arts in Orange County. While each chapter hosts their own social events and yearly fundraisers, all chapters come together for the annual Spring Celebration.

Arthur Fiedler Chapter
Location: North County
Interests: Duplicate Bridge Events
The Arthur Fiedler Guild Chapter has been established for many years. Members/contributors are Duplicate Bridge players who enjoy meeting several times a month for friendly, lively, and competitive games.
On the fourth Sunday of each month members, consisting of ladies and gentlemen, gather at a member's home early in the evening for snacks and numerous rounds of Duplicate Bridge. We are very appreciative that Barbara and Jim Benson make their home available for most games. The first Wednesday of every month is when the ladies meet at 10:00 AM at the beautiful Yorba Linda Country Club for about four hours for Bridge, stopping for a delicious lunch in the dining room. Every February we hold a mini-fund raiser on the Monday of President's Day. This event is open to members and non-members and is always very well attended. In addition, we have distinctive events such as an annual potluck, a December Holiday event, and a special membership dessert gathering.

Location: Central County/ Newport Harbor
Interests: Singles/Professionals
The Cabaret Chapter of The Guilds began in 1979 for single, professional men and women who are over 45. We meet every fourth Wednesday of the month at a local hotel in Irvine. Cocktails begin at 5:30 with a meeting following at 6:30. A social hour continues after the meeting with dancing and networking. To promote and maintain friendships, the Cabaret Chapter has a myriad of activities. There are parties throughout the year for every major holiday with a special formal event during the holiday season. For the athletically inclined, there are weekly rounds of tennis, golf, and hiking. The group has bridge and theater parties and a yearly weekend away. No single person could ever be lonely if he or she is a member of the Cabaret Chapter!
In late spring, all members participated in a major fundraiser. It's a black-tie affair in a beautiful venue. An evening of dining, dancing and gaming is highlighted by opportunity drawings and a silent auction. Past efforts have resulted in more than three-quarters of a million dollars for the Segerstrom Center for the Arts.
