Presented by presented by
Venue: Samueli Theater Tickets start at $59.00

Talented actress, film producer and Broadway star Rita Wilson’s self-titled new album, the follow-up to her debut release 2012 release AM/FM, is an acclaimed collection of eloquent original singer/songwriter pop etched with stunning honesty. This new material was prominently featured in her recent sold-out residency at the famed Café Carlyle in New York City, earning her praise from the New York Times, which said, “Ms. Wilson has a catch in her voice that conveys yearning and potential heartbreak behind a façade of cheer. As a stage performer, she is gregarious and forthright; a natural entertainer.” For this very special engagement, she’ll be joined by special guests for an evening of songwriters performing and telling the stories behind their songs. The show will be performed in a cabaret setting, providing an up-close and personal experience.

Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee Billy Steinberg is the co-writer of five #1 singles on Billboard's "Hot 100" chart, including "Like A Virgin" (Madonna), "True Colors" (Cyndi Lauper), "So Emotional" (Whitney Houston) "Eternal Flame" (The Bangles) and "Alone" (Heart).

He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2008.

Multi-platinum selling songwriter and Holly Knight has penned numerous chart-toppers, including “Better Be Good To Me” (Tina Turner), “Love is a Battlefield” (Pat Benatar), “Change” (John Waite) and “Rag Doll” (Aerosmith). Knight’s songs have appeared in countless blockbuster films, including Thelma and Louise, Stewart Little, Dallas Buyer’s Club and Anchorman 2.
