Center favorite Takács Quartet is returning to Samueli Theater (their home away from home) for a luminous performance with award-winning pianist Marc-André Hamelin.

As our audience knows oh-so-well, this world-renowned quartet is renowned for the vitality of its interpretations. They are the first string quartet ever to be inducted into the Gramophone Hall of Fame, and in their 48th year as an ensemble, they recently won their 4th Gramophone Classical Music Award for Chamber Music in 2021.

Pianist Marc-André Hamelin, no stranger to our music-loving audience, is known worldwide for his unrivaled blend of consummate musicianship and brilliant technique in the great works of the established repertoire.

With these resplendent artists performing together in our intimate Samueli Theater, it is sure to be one unforgettable concert.
