Overview

After 20 years of performing together, Quartetto di Cremona has won several prestigious awards including the ICMA Award in 2018 and the ECHO Klassik. This Italian quartet has performed across South America, Europe, Australia, and the U.S., and in February, they’re bringing their immense talent to Segerstrom Center for the Arts.

Quartetto de Cremona is known for their high level of interpretive artistry that has become well-known within the international classical music world. The quartet is comprised of Cristiano Gualco (violin), Paolo Andreoli (violin), Simone Gramaglia (viola), and Giovanni Scaglione (cello) and their curated program of music highlights the work of several Italian composers including Boccherini, Verdi, Puccini, and Respighi.

This performance includes a pre-show talk with musicologist Dr. Byron Adams and will make for a perfect night of classical music.
