Experience an unforgettable night of dance at the 14th Annual Gala of the Stars. This unique event boasts an incredible roster of world-renowned ballet stars from internationally-acclaimed ballet companies and Festival Ballet Theatre alumni stars, whose talent will be complemented by select, inspired young ballet protégés. Current and future stars will share the stage in one unprecedented spectacular performance.

This year marks a milestone for Festival Ballet Theatre and its official ballet school, Southland Ballet Academy. Festival Ballet Theatre, Orange County’s premier non-profit ballet company, celebrates its 35th anniversary and Southland Ballet Academy celebrates its 40th anniversary. This Gala performance will feature:
“Onegin” performed by Agnes Su, Stuttgart Ballet Principal & FBT Alumni, and Clemens Fröhlich, Stuttgart Ballet Soloist
“Romeo and Juliet” performed by Jamie Kopit, Nashville Ballet Company Artist & FBT Alumni, and Nicolas Scheuer, Nashville Ballet Company Artist
“Flames of Paris” performed by Tyler Donatelli, Houston Ballet First Soloist & FBT Alumni, and Zechang Liang, Philadelphia Ballet Principal
Adji Cissoko, Alonzo King Lines Ballet Dancer, and Shuaib Elhassan, Alonzo King Lines Ballet Dancer
Julian MacKay, Bayerisches Staatsballett Principal
Constantine Allen, Dutch National Ballet Principal
A special demonstration of the talented next generation and ballet protégés. This program is the culmination of 2 weeks of intensive ballet training designed for the inspired young dancer. These hand-picked young dancers are offered the rare opportunity to be very closely seen and guided by esteemed internationally well-known artistic directors and ballet masters including Christopher Powney, Artistic Director of Royal Ballet School, Larissa Saveliev and Gennadi Saveliev, Youth America Grand Prix Founders and Artistic Directors as well as Southland Ballet Academy’s Artistic Director, Salwa Rizkalla, and esteemed faculty.
