Emerson String Quartet was founded in 1976 and has performed in prestigious venues across the globe. In addition, the string quartet has received nine Grammys, including Best Classical Album. As The Times (London) says, “With musicians like this, there must be some hope for humanity.” Their inspiring and exhilarating performances bring Beethoven, Bartok, and Haydn’s music to life with vibrancy and artistic excellence that simply cannot be replicated.

This performance includes a pre-show talk with musicologist Dr. Byron Adams and will make for a perfect night of classical music.
