Overview

Due to overwhelming demand, Reunited in Dance is SOLD OUT, but we don’t want you to miss the performance of a lifetime!

Join us on November 12, on the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza for a livestream simulcast of the one-night-only performance happening inside the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall (Plaza opens at 5:30 pm) .

The livestream starts at 8 PM and we advise arriving early to get the best possible view of our screen and the world-class dancers on it. Blankets, chairs, and food are all welcomed on the plaza (no tents or grills please). George’s Café will be open and available for dinner and drinks. Registration is not required for livestream attendance.

Led by British-born Artistic Director Xander Parish, a former principal dancer at the Mariinsky Ballet, the dancers were previously part of Russia’s elite companies, including the Bolshoi Ballet, Mariinsky Ballet, Mikhailovsky Ballet, Stanislavsky Ballet, and others. Not to be missed by ballet and dance lovers, Reunited in Dance features new choreography as well as beloved classics: the world premiere of a new ballet choreographed by Parish to Tchaikovsky’s Children’s Album, performed by special guest artist and pianist Behzod Abduraimov, who appears in collaboration with the Philharmonic Society of Orange County; a performance of Christopher Wheeldon’s After the Rain; selections from Le Corsaire, Raymonda, and Paquita; and more.

Many of the dancers who will perform in Reunited in Dance have appeared over the years at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, one of the world’s leading presenters of international ballet. This extraordinary performance is in part a tribute to Judy Morr, the Executive Vice President behind the longstanding tradition of world-class ballet programming at Segerstrom Center.
