Movie Mondays: Hairspray
Venue: Julianne and George Argyros Plaza
Free – Tickets Required
In 1960s Baltimore, dance-loving teen Tracy Turnblad auditions for a spot on “The Corny Collins Show” and wins, becoming an overnight celebrity. Perhaps her new status as a teen sensation is enough to topple Corny’s reigning dance queen and bring racial integration to the show. Starring Nikki Blonsky and Zac Efron; directed by Adam Shankman.
Enjoy free family fun this summer with the return of Movie Mondays on the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza! Catch a hit movie, try a cool activity, and grab a bite to eat at George’s Café as well as select food trucks. Or bring a picnic dinner. Just don’t forget your beach chairs, blankets and popcorn!
