Learning The Hula
Students learn about the Hawaiian islands and its people, practices, and traditions, and how the hula plays an integral part in keeping the culture alive. They will learn how the values of kuleana (responsibility), ohana (family), and aloha (love, breath of life) play a key role in not only the way we can communicate through dance, but how we can incorporate them in our everyday lives.
