Beautifully trained dancers with an eclectic and dynamic dance vocabulary explore modern themes through athletic, lyrical, contemporary movement to create meticulously sculpted dance works.
Enhance student communication, listening and problem solving skills while motivating students to learn more about literature, language and history. In this residency, students learn how to create and manipulate rod, hand and shadow puppets. In additional sessions, students may select story lines from plays to create specific character roles to be used in puppetry performances. Projects are designed for all grade levels and can easily be incorporated into any curriculum area.
