The Beat of Ghana
Investigate the rhythms, songs, dance and culture of the Ewe and Dagomba people of Ghana, West Africa. Students will learn basic Ewe dance movements and form a traditional ensemble incorporating elements of Ghanian culture and musical concepts such as pulse, dynamics, tempo and pitch.
