Discover basic elements that allow a dancer to communicate a story through the body. By exploring dances from other cultures, these workshops allow students to survey the basic elements of dance, learn how to communicate or tell a story through gestures and bring a legend to life through movement. This residency connects to the language arts standards, utilizing dance as a medium to tell stories.
