Opportunities for High School Students

Segerstrom Center for the Arts’ Education Department is proud to offer opportunities for high school students to shadow the professional union (IATSE) crew. This program was created specifically to provide opportunities to students who are from diverse backgrounds and/or those who are members of a group that is underrepresented in our industry. These opportunities allow students to not only see how the backstage runs for professional productions, but also explore the different career pathways available behind the curtain.

This program is currently on hiatus due to the backstage COVID-19-related restrictions  of our touring companies. Please fill out the interest form below to be notified when opportunities become available.

Opportunities for College Students

Segerstrom Center for the Arts offers unique and exciting opportunities to shadow and observe the professional stage management team of Broadway and Dance tours visiting the Center.

These opportunities are one of the Education department’s diversity and inclusion initiatives and are ideal for any current undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a career as a professional stage manager. Through these educational opportunities, Segerstrom Center seeks to provide a diverse group of emerging professionals with hands-on experience to promote equity in careers in the arts.

This program is currently on hiatus due to the backstage COVID-19-related restrictions of our touring companies. Please fill out the interest form below to be notified when opportunities become available.
