Utilizing arts strategies, these opportunities are led by the Center’s Teaching Artists and can supplement classroom management tools, 21st-centuryst century skills, social-emotional learning, EDI (Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion), multimodal learning, and more.
Arts: Avenues to Learning
Arts: Avenues to Learning is our partnership with Cal State University, Fullerton, supporting student teachers as they prepare for their future elementary classrooms. As part of the student teachers’ coursework requirements, this day-long program provides the student teachers with the opportunity for hands-on workshops with the Center’s Teaching Artists, learning arts integration strategies, and reinforcing cross-curricular connections.
