Summer Dance: From Broadway to Ballet

Which class is right for you?

  • Ages 3 – 5 

    Ballet

    Level
    Kinder (no experience necessary)

    Scheduling
    Kinder level meets Wednesdays (4:30 – 5:15 p.m.)
    PRICE: $20 per week

  • Ages 6 – 8 

    Ballet

    Level
    Beginner (no experience necessary)

    Scheduling
    Beginner 6-8 level meets Tuesdays and Thursdays (4:30 – 5:30 p.m.)  
    PRICE: $35 per week

  • Ages 8 – 12 

    Level
    Intermediate

    Scheduling 
    Tuesdays - Thursdays (2:00 – 5:00 p.m.)
    Each day will include ballet technique, pointe/pre-pointe and body conditioning
    PRICE: $120 per week 

    ADD ON Elective
    Scheduling
    Tuesdays – Thursdays (11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.)
    Each week will be a different dance style such as Jazz, Modern, Contemporary and more!
    PRICE: $40 FLAT RATE

  • Ages 12 – 22 

    Level
    Advanced

    Scheduling 
    Mondays - Fridays (2:00 – 5:00 p.m.)
    Each day will include ballet technique, cardio, and either pointe (M/W/F) or body conditioning (Tu/Th)
    PRICE: $245 per week 

    ADD ON Elective

    Tuesdays – Thursdays (11:30 a.m. - 1:00pm)
    Each week will be a different dance style such as Jazz, Modern, Contemporary and more!
    PRICE: $40 FLAT RATE


    Attire
    Ballet: Girls should wear a solid color leotard with pink tights, pink ballet slippers, and have their pointe shoes if applicable. Ballet skirts are optional and may not be permitted in all classes. Boys should wear a white leotard or shirt, black tights, leggings, or shorts, and ballet slippers
    Other Styles: Students should wear comfortable clothes that they can easily move in and bring jazz or character shoes if applicable. It is recommended students have a yoga mat or towel for body conditioning classes.

  • Dance & Music for Children with Disabilites

    The Center’s School of Dance and Music for Children with Disabilities is also offering a virtual summer schedule. Classes are inclusive and designed for children with disabilities such as Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorders, audio and visual impairments, and other complex needs as well as children that are developmentally typical.

    Scheduling
    Dance & Music: Ages 4 - 9  meets Mondays from 4:00 – 4:45 p.m.         
    Dance & Music: Ages 10 - 15  meets Tuesdays from 4:00 – 4:45 p.m.      
    Dance & Music: Ages 16 - 22 meets Wednesdays from 4:00 – 4:45 p.m. 
    Musical Theater: Ages 7-11 meets Thursdays from 4:00 – 4:45 p.m.

    Throughout the four weeks of virtual classes, your student will have the opportunity to learn dance and music concepts, socialize with their peers, and explore their creativity. Recorded videos and class kits will be provided prior to the live Zoom classes so the students will be frontloaded with class material.

    Our Dance & Music classes are led by a dance instructor and a musician. The students focus on movement exercises as well as short music lessons. Our Musical Theater class is led by a vocal coach and dance instructor and the students explore the three components of musical theater — dancing, acting, and singing.
