Q: Where are classes held?
A. Classes are held at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. We utilize dance studios in Segerstrom Hall and students enter through the Judy Morr Theater Lobby.
We also facilitate classes at various organizations and schools throughout the county. Interested in bringing Studio D to your space? Email Community@scfta.org to explore our offerings.
Q: What qualifications are necessary to register?
A. We welcome students of all abilities ages 4 and up.
Q: Is there a dress code?
A.Yes, there is a relaxed dress code. We recommend students wear clothing they are comfortable moving in and either wear closed-toe shoes or be barefoot. Dance attire such as leotards and ballet slippers are not required. Studio D shirts are available for purchase for $10.
Q: Are scholarships offered?
A.Scholarships are offered based on financial need. Please email Community@scfta.org to receive an application.
Q: How is tuition processed?
A. Tuition payments can be made by credit card, cash, or check. Monthly payments plans are available through the registration process upon request.
Q: I know someone who might be interested, but they fall outside of the age range for your classes – how can they participate?
A. Please get in touch with Studio D as classes offered will continue to expand with interest; contact Community@scfta.org.
Q: We are not able to attend classes because the days and times do not work for our schedule – how can my child participate?
