General Rental Information
Hours for Events
The Center is available from 7 am to midnight daily, except for New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. All events, including last call and guest departure must end by midnight.
Catering and Alcohol
Patina Catering is the exclusive caterer and alcohol provider for the Center. For menu options and pricing, please contact Patina at (714) 556-2122 ext. 4202. Alcohol service must end no later than one half hour prior to the agreed upon end of the event.
Event Information Deadline
Final and complete information regarding your event must be provided to the Center at least 30 days prior to your event dates. This will help us to be sure that every detail and need will be taken care of and that your event will run smoothly.
Layouts
The Center is happy to provide one initial layout and one revision at no charge. The final layout must be finalized no later than two weeks prior to your event. Additional revisions can be provided at a $50 fee.
Setup/Cleanup
Setup times are subject to availability of your room or venue based on the date and needs of your event. It is your responsibility to notify the decorator, florist, entertainer, and other vendors of the setup time. Breakdown and cleanup must begin immediately following the event. Depending on arrangements and the needs for the room, this may need to be completed by the end of the event day.
Entertainment
Any live entertainment (DJ, dance band, musician soloist, magician, juggler, etc.) must be approved by the Center in writing. Please bear in mind that there may be other events going on at the same time and that there are residential areas surrounding the Center. For those reasons, the Center reserved the right to control the acoustic volume of any entertainment on the Center campus.
Decorations
Nothing can be nailed, stapled, tacked, taped or otherwise affixed to the Center property. For taping of cables, please consult the Center’s theater operations staff. Only freestanding equipment or decorations may be used. Rice, glitter, birdseed, tinsel and confetti are not permitted.
Photography
Wedding photography with any of the Center facility in the background that may be used for invitations, included in event-day photography or what may appear on websites or in publications are subject to limited consent by the Center. Please be sure to review the Facility License Agreement for consent details. For all commercial use photography or videography, please submit a rental request.
Flammable Devices
Fireworks and the use of open flame are not permitted anywhere on the Center campus. Battery operated candles are acceptable.
Parking/Valet Parking
The Center does not own, operate or control parking structures located near the Center campus. Public parking is fee-based depending on time of day and other events in the area. Special arrangements can also be made for valet parking.
Deposit
For weddings, a deposit of 50% of the facility package price plus a damage deposit (see below) is required upon signing the Facility License Agreement. This deposit is non-refundable. For all other rentals, we collect a non-refundable first deposit that encompasses the license fee and remaining balance is due prior to the event.
Damage/Cleaning
As part of your Facility License Agreement, you accept responsibility for the repair or replacement of fixtures, equipment or any portion of facility and cleaning that is beyond the scope of regular practices as a result of your use. You will also be responsible for removal of all signage and other event markers in the area. A damage deposit is required in advance of the event.
Insurance
Upon your decision to hold your event at the Center, you will need to provide your own insurance coverage for operations in connection with the event. This included, but is not limited to Commercial General Liability coverage with a minimum limit in the amount of $1.000, 000 per occurrence. The Center may provide Commercial General Liability insurance coverage on behalf of its clients. Additional charges may apply. These details will be discussed with you during the rental process.
Smoking
The Center is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is prohibited inside any Center building. Smoking is permitted outside of the facility on the Plaza or the Argyros Terrace.
