Segerstrom Center offers a variety of fun and exciting activities to enhance and complement your performance experience, including online resources, pre-show and sneak peek events and opportunities to add your voice to the conversation in post-show discussions and panels.

Matilda the Musical, January 17 - 29

Show up early to Matilda the Musical for a host of fun pre-show activities in our lobbies!

PLAZA: Read ahead with lyric sheets provided to catch the clever lyrics in the show
ORCHESTRA: Write in your future dreams at our interactive “When I grow up…” bookshelf art display.
ORCHESTRA TERRACE: Snap your photo at our Matilda The Musical photo op
Stop by the Orange County Public Libraries booth for a fun book-themed photo opportunity and learn about their libraries.
LOGE: “Which teacher has most influenced your life?” Skim through our top finalists from our youth essay contest.
LIMO PARKING LANE (Outside): Check-out books at the Anaheim Public Library Bookmobile’s fully functioning library-on-wheels on our campus. Saturday, January 21 only
BALCONY: Another extraordinary young girl, 13-year old Anika Ortiz, founder of nonprofit Anika’s Pink Closet, shares her story followed by a crafts activity. Following performances only: January 17th – 19th, 22nd (Both Mat and Eve), 25th, 26th, 27th (Eve only) and 29th (Eve only)



The Little Prince, February 18th and 19th

Join us for a galactic adventure before the performance. Get your very own Little Prince passport and receive stamps for completing interactive activities inspired by the planets visited in The Little Prince. From assisting the aviator with his broken plane to helping the businessman count the stars, there is something fun for everyone. The adventure begins one hour before show time so make sure to fly in early with your little aviators for a journey that is out of this world.
