Tuesday Night Dance: Hula
Each month, join us on the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza to learn a new style of dance taught by a local expert instructor. Tuesday Night Dance is a fun and upbeat program designed for all ages and abilities — all are welcome and no dance experience required, so come try something new!

Grieg Piano Concerto
This is one of the most beloved, most passionate piano concertos in the entire repertoire. The brilliant Louis Lortie, noted by The New York Times for his “splendid technique and thoughtful soul,” plays Grieg’s immortal concerto. Teddy Abrams, at the forefront of America’s new generation of conductors leads Stravinsky’s colorful Petrushka, and an overture of his own.

Summer Sounds: South Side Symphony
This free Friday night concert on the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza welcomes South Side Symphony. A 17-piece orchestra that composer Marcus Norris describes as “like a younger, more ‘ratchet’ version of The Roots, accompanied by lush live strings and horns.” Bring your beach chairs and picnic blankets, enjoy libations and light bites from George’s Café, and dance the night away!

Hansel & Gretel - Opera for Kids
This fairy tale adventure tells the story of two hungry children lost in an enchanted forest, an inviting gingerbread house and a wicked witch. This kid-friendly production features spoken narration and acting, as well as the most charming and catchy tunes from the original opera, sung by talented opera singers.

In addition to all that Segerstrom Center presents, you can enjoy the inspiring music of our three resident companies—Philharmonic Society of Orange County, Pacific Symphony, and Pacific Chorale—plus thrilling dance from our official dance company American Ballet Theatre, and captivating theater and visual art from our campus partners South Coast Repertory and the Orange County Museum of Art.
