While everyone has been basking in the summer sun, we at the Center have been getting ready for fall and a new season of great performances. In this issue of Revue, you can read about our new series of Dance and Cabaret, both filled with exciting entertainment. The Dance season opens with the world-famous Mariinsky Ballet dancing Swan Lake. This is classical ballet at its best. See our slide show of the production here and catch the magic. We also have a profile of jazz great Pat Metheny, making his third appearance at the Center. Metheny has reinvented his well-known sound for a new generation—modern in conception but also deeply grounded in jazz tradition. He's joined by three rising stars of the jazz world for an exciting one-night-only performance. You can also read about an Informally Yours event presented for Friends of the Center.
