“He is one of those geniuses that come along once in twenty years. He has immense energy and intensity that is almost supernatural.” (Neue Zuercher Zeitung, Switzerland)

Invited to be the opening soloist performing the Yellow River Concerto in the 2010 World Expo in China, critics hailed it as the best performance of the iconic piece in its history!

As the youngest prize winner of the International Rachmaninoff Piano Competition, the world-renowned Taiwanese-Austrian pianist Rueibin Chen is deeply influenced by his teacher, Lazar Berman, who is descended from Liszt, Siloti, Goldenweiser and Rachmaninoff. The tour “Total Rachmaninoff” is named after Rachmaninoff and is held in honor of the 140th anniversary of his birth.
