WATTS ADDS POWER TO OFF CENTER FESTIVAL January 19, 2012 | Segerstrom Center for the Arts | Reggie Watts
| There was a new look, sound and feel about Segerstrom Center for the Arts Friday through Sunday, January 13–15 as it inaugurated its first Off Center Festival. Part of the Center's 25th Anniversary Celebration, the Off Center Festival is, as Center President Terry Dwyer described it, "an eclectic and energetic array of the finest in contemporary performance. Our hope is this festival will engage new audiences from throughout Orange County and that its diverse performances will, in an exciting way, redefine for them what is a Center experience." This past weekend's performances included Chautauqua! by The National Theater of the United States of America, Reggie Watts, Lord Huron, BLOK and The Car Plays. The Off Center Festival continues Thursday – Sunday, January 19–22 with more performances of The Car Plays, ReEntry, The Word Begins, Ten Tiny Dances and concerts by Nancy Sanchez and Mexican Institute of Sound (M.I.S.). For information about dates and times and to purchase tickets, visit SCFTA.org, call the Center's Box Office at (714) 556-2787 or visit the Center's Box Office at 600 Town Center Dr., Costa Mesa. | Ten Tiny Dances
