Easy Steps to a Successful Booking
1. Select Your Show
Look over our website and choose the performance(s) best suited for your grade level. We recommend that you consult with the principal and the teachers with classes attending for suggestions. Segerstrom Center for the Arts' On Stage staff is also available to make suggestions. Call (714) 556-2122, ext. 4333, Option 1 for questions.
2. Identify Available Dates and Times
Check the school’s master calendar and choose at least two show dates and/or times. Make sure the timing of the performance and your travel time work with the school’s schedule.
3. Reserve Your Seats
To reserve your seats, print this form and fax to (714) 556–0156
Basic information needed to start the booking process includes your artist selection(s), available dates, performance times and the number of people attending. The reservation process may take several days, so please reserve early to ensure ample time to complete the process.
Capacity for performances in Samueli Theatre is 275 attendees.
Capacity for performances in Segerstrom Hall is 2,500 attendees.
4. Confirm Dates
Once a date has been selected and confirmed, make sure your performances are on the school’s master calendar. Our reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis, and it may be difficult to reschedule if a conflict develops.
Payment is required 30 days prior to the performance (6 weeks for performances in Segerstrom Hall). If you require additional paperwork to process the payment, please contact the Segerstrom Center’s On Stage staff early.
No membership fee - Segerstrom Center for the Arts does not charge a district or organizational membership fee for any services including the On Stage at the Center program. Prices remain the same for all schools and organizations.
6. Paper Work
Please submit any necessary school or district forms early for timely processing. An On Stage confirmation will be sent to you as soon as availability is confirmed and payment is received.
7. Performance Preparation
Copy and distribute evaluations and instructional materials to your teachers, which will be sent to you via e-mail. Prepare your students to view the performance with an introductory lesson from the provided instructional material. Discuss proper behavior and etiquette for viewing a live performance.
8. Performance Day
Plan to arrive at the Center 20-30 minutes before the performance. A map with directions for the busses will be e-mailed to you along with your confirmation information. Enjoy the show!
9. Following the Performance
Collect and return teacher evaluation forms so we can get their valuable feedback.
