Tuesday Night Dance is back! Return to the Argyros Plaza for Broadway-style dance classes every Tuesday in March. Classes will be led by Broadway-extraordinaire, Lauren Lim Jackson who will teach choreography from shows like Chicago, Memphis, Motown, and Pretty Woman. All classes will be outdoors and socially distanced. No dance experience is required.
Instructor bio:
Lauren Lim Jackson is a Broadway, Film, and Television actress originally from Orange County, CA. A graduate of Harvard University, Ms. Jackson’s credits include the Broadway casts of Finian’s Rainbow, Wonderland, Memphis, Motown the Musical, and Pretty Woman the Musical. Film/Tv credits include Spielberg’s The Post, The Blacklist, High Maintenance, and Natalie on Fox’s Almost Family. She is currently the Director of Musical Theatre at the Orange County School of the Arts.
Safety Precautions:
Masks must be worn by all participants upon check-in and until they arrive to their assigned spots. Each participant will be spaced 8 feet from others and dance movements will be stationary. The instructor will be onstage and will not provide tactile cuing. Contactless checkin will include a touchless thermometer temperature check and hand sanitizer stations will be accessible throughout the Plaza
