The Center's Arts Teach scholarships are offered in an effort to encourage teachers to integrate the educational content of live performances into their classrooms.
-
The scholarship application must be submitted a minimum of 15 days before the performance date. You may list all performances for which you are requesting a scholarship on one application. A new application is needed each school year.
-
Every teacher who attended the assemblies must submit an evaluation form of the performance.
-
One class per assembly must submit a scholarship project within 90 days of the performance date. The exceptions are April, May and June assemblies, which are due no later than June 15th. Submit only the best examples of this class or group’s work. Team projects are encouraged.
-
An application is considered complete for consideration on the date the last requirement is fulfilled whether that be the receipt of teacher evaluations, scholarship projects, application or payment (in full) for the assembly.
The scholarship rebate credit is to be used toward future
Arts Teach assemblies and workshops. Additional information is included on
the scholarship guidelines sheet sent with your confirmation packet. Questions?
Please call 714.556.2122, ext. 4310 or email artsteach@SCFTA.org.
