The Center's Arts Teach programs and accompanying instructional materials incorporate elements of the California State Framework for the Visual and Performing Arts. In an effort to assist you in selecting the most appropriate programs to include in your curriculum, we have indentified primary Curriculum Connections that suggest interrelated subject areas that can easily be tied to the performance or written materials. Activities coincide with objectives stated in the National Standards for Art Education and the California State Frameworks for the Visual and Performing Arts, and may include creative writing, visual art projects and/or critical evaluation excercises.
