At Segerstrom Center for the Arts (hereafter known as SCFTA), we respect your right to privacy and encourage you to read this policy that informs users of the SCFTA.org Internet site how the site does collect, store and use data, as well as personal information submitted via the site. “Data” is non-personally identifiable information that includes, but is not limited to, an IP address. "Personal information" includes, but is not limited to, name, address, telephone number, email address, as well as general details of your purchase/contribution such as but not limited to the date and dollar amount of your transaction. Your use of this site constitutes acceptance of this policy. Other than as indicated in section 3 below, SCFTA does not sell, rent, trade or otherwise disclose personal information that you give us.
1. Collection of information and data
A. Information you provide us
Certain applications on SCFTA's website may require users to register or to provide personal information in order to make a commerce transaction, to enter a contest, or to subscribe to a newsletter. To better understand the needs of our website users, we may also request demographic information. Entry of such information is optional and if you choose not to enter such information, you can successfully use these applications. If we are provided demographic information, we will not share that information about you as an individual with any other entity. If we do share demographic information with third parties, we would give them aggregate information only.
B. Automatically collected data
SCFTA uses Remarketing with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. When you visit SCFTA.org, cookies and/or tags may automatically collect data and use it for SCFTA remarketing, audience targeting, measuring website traffic and behavior, and more. Also, when you visit SCFTA.org, your web browser automatically sends certain data to Google. Google may set cookies on your browser or read cookies already there. How Google uses this data and how you can control the data shared by your web browser is provided at www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/ or other URL Google may provide from time to time.
2. Mailing lists
If you provide your e-mail address, SCFTA may contact you periodically with special offers, updated information and new services. Any e-mails sent to you by SCFTA offer you the option to be removed from the e-mail mailing list. Selected applications on our website allow visitors to subscribe to our newsletter by providing their names and addresses to SCFTA. If you provide SCFTA with your mailing address or telephone number, SCFTA, in addition to providing you with the SCFTA newsletter, may also use this information to alert you to updated information and new services. If you wish to be removed from the telephone and mailing lists, you may do so by contacting SCFTA directly (See the 'Contact Us' section below).
3. Information to third parties
Some performances at SCFTA are presented by other organizations. Personal information collected by SCFTA when you purchase tickets for these performances may be provided to the third party presenting organization.
The Center also trades name, mail, and e-mail address information from time to time with other local arts organizations for ticket offers. No other personal information, transaction or history information is shared in such trades. Patrons can opt out of list trades by calling SCFTA at 714.556.2787.
SCFTA may occasionally present a special contest or promotion on its website that is sponsored by, or in association with, another company. To qualify for entry, we may ask you to provide personal information. If we plan to share that information with the sponsor(s) and/or partner(s), we will provide a statement to that effect.
SCFTA may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) conform to the law or comply with legal process served on SCFTA; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of SCFTA; or (c) act to protect the personal safety of SCFTA employees, users of SCFTA services, or members of the public.
4. Financial information
SCFTA will protect any personal financial information that you provide to us. If you make a purchase online, we will use your credit card number only to process your payment and will not use it for marketing purposes. For reasons of security, Credit Card CVV code information is not stored. We will retain order information for our records, but this information is never shared with third parties.
We do not solicit personal information from children. Sites specifically geared toward children will not request any personal or contact information.
7. Contact Us/How to update your personal information
You can help SCFTA maintain the accuracy of your personal information by notifying us when you change your address, title, phone number, or e-mail address. If at any time you wish to update your information or stop receiving communication from SCFTA, our Arts Partners (Pacific Symphony, Philharmonic Society of Orange County, Pacific Chorale, or other selected third parties, you may log onto your account on scfta.org to directly edit your information or you may contact SCFTA by e-mail at email@example.com or by postal mail at:
